Sarah Walford DipCNM BMedSci (Hons)
I'm a qualified nutritionist with a diploma in Nutritional Therapy from The College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM). I also have a Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) degree from the University of Birmingham. I'm a member of BANT, the regulatory body for professional nutritional therapists, CNHC and am fully insured. I regularly attend seminars and conferences to maintain my clinical knowledge and develop my skills.
I'm a busy mum to three kids, Joseph, 6, Aiden, 4 and Melissa, 1. Combining working and motherhood isn't always easy, and I have to make nutritional choices that cater for ALL of my family, including my Coke-loving, white-bread-addicted husband! So my focus is very much on small, realistic and achievable nutritional changes that will make a big difference. By focusing on incorporating more of the good stuff in to your diet, you will naturally begin to cut down on the bad stuff, without feeling deprived. And when it all becomes too much, remember the 80 / 20 rule - if you're good 80% of the time, 20% of the time you don't have to be!
